 What is Custom Builder?

Custom Builder provides users with a powerful web-based service for configuring one or many racks. Using either a simple guided interface or build it yourself mode, rack configurations are created for HP ProLiant servers and StorageWorks.

How do I use Custom Builder?

Custom Builder helps users build complex solutions and offers a variety of features. Computer-based training (CBT) has been made available for new users to understand the capabilities of the tool. Click here to access the CBT online.

What is new in Custom Builder?

Announcing new Custom Builder functionality on 9/17: Inter-Operability between servers and storage products is now supported in Custom Builder. Users can now build complex configurations containing ISS and NSS products and Custom Builder will validate the connectivity rules. Click here to learn more about this feature.

How do I save Custom Builder Configurations?

Users who login to the Custom Builder application using HP Passport* will have the ability to save their configurations and update saved configurations. If you are a new user to HP Passport, click on the register link below to create a new user profile. If you are already a HP Passport user, please use your HP Passport user ID and password to login using the HP passport sign in link below.

How would you like to build this solution?

» Let Me Build a New Solution Myself

In this mode, you will be taken to Custom Builder and then be able to choose all the components you would like in your rack(s) with limited assistance.
